This project was a client account I managed while working at Fifty. SRV Canada VRS is a Video Relay Service for Deaf, hard of hearing, or speech-impaired Canadians. The service allows users to access and make telephone calls using Internet and cell-phone-based technologies. VRS callers are connected with a sign language interpreter who provides real-time interpretation for telephone calls. Over the span of 2-3 years, I worked on a wide variety of tasks for SRV Canada VRS, including social posts, email newsletters, a complete website redesign and reorganization, and various print jobs. Essentially, I handled everything that an in-house designer would typically manage. Throughout the project, I maintained close communication with the client and collaborated with our developers to ensure seamless execution.
We began by understanding the client's needs and goals through regular communications and detailed briefings. For the social media posts, I created a consistent and engaging visual style, aligning with the brand's identity. I collaborated with our developers to produce and distribute email newsletters, ensuring they were both informative and visually appealing.
The website redesign involved a thorough review of the existing site, followed by the creation of a more user-friendly layout with updated content. I worked closely with the developers to implement these changes over two years, making continuous updates to keep the site current. For print materials, I designed various marketing collateral that adhered to the brand guidelines and met the client's requirements.
Regular emails and updates ensured that the client was always in the loop, and their feedback was incorporated promptly. The editorial calendar for Facebook was meticulously planned each month to ensure a steady flow of relevant and engaging content.
This comprehensive approach ensured that SRV Canada VRS received consistent, high-quality design support, enhancing their brand presence across multiple platforms.
