This project was completed during an internship at an Ottawa design agency. A local flower shop needed a logo and brand identity. The owner wanted to express her personality, which is non-traditional, funky, and a little unconventional.
We began with a briefing from the client to understand her business, needs, likes, and dislikes. She shared some examples of work she admired, including a piece with a mandala design, which became our starting point. The logo features pointed ends and sharp corners to add edginess, paired with a sans-serif font with slight curves to mirror the flower's curves. To create contrast and add a touch of femininity and formality, we used a more traditional serif font in the wordmark. This approach ensured that the final design captured the owner's unique style while providing a strong and memorable brand identity for the flower shop.
